2002 sebring conv. both clips are broken that

the fuse box under the dash is also a body control module a computer have it checked

What engine size, 2.7L or 3.0L, and torque about what component (cylinder head, intake-exhaust manifold, etc).

Those are HomeLink buttons. You can program them to work in place of a garage door opener or other infrared device like that. Just pick one, hold it down, press the garage door opener button while aiming it at the visor, and then release the buttons. That allows you to use the visor button instead of a door opener.

go to a dealership with a screwdriver and your broken sun visor in hand. take out a nissan murano with an interior that matches yours for a test drive and perform a switch on the sun visors. install your broken visor in place of the one that works, and take the one that works out of the car that your test driving.

Problem solved, its free, and you didn't have to get creative to fix the problem. Plus, they can't blame you for a broken visor considering that they fail in these cars all the time. You're welcome!!!

You need to replace it. Don't do it with another 2002 sun visor. I did and guess what, it did it again. I also had it replaced once by the dealer when under warrenty. Its a bad design.

In the end I replaced it with a sun visor from a 2004 (I think) model. I got lucky and found someone selling new sets on e-bay. It is a new design so you should replace both so they look right but they fit. As an extra bonus it also had a memo recorder along with the home link and the new visor slides out to give you better coverage than the '02 model. Best of all, the defect that causes the visor to slowly tilt down has been corrected. After 2 years, it's still working.

There are two little plastic pins that snap against a spring steel clip and these have broken off.. - for @ $180.usd you can replace the unit.. or we applied two small velcro discs ( ask at any hardware store) under the mirror and cover and that seems to work fine. They also make adhesive magnet strip that might work. A fix that we used for a few weeks was to clip the garage door opener on this visor..it held it in place nicely. Good luck
