Question about 2005 Audi A3
When ignition turned off I can change the gears but when ignition on or car idling, I cannot move the gear shifter to put it into drive
Pretty simailar problem to Albies453- i have a1998 audi A3 Auto transmission
I cannot get it out of park - the light remains on while i press the brake down, the brake feels pretty hard and wont go down.
Also prior to this its like it would get stuck in gear and over rev and not change, every time this happens it would always get stuck in park
If any one could advise it would be most appreciated
Have you checked the brake lights for operation ?
if they don't work than it is your brake light switch located on the pedal support bracket.
