2000 ford expedition no front heat, back heat work fine. I went through the glove box and into the side of the heater box, the blend door works fine. Any ideals?

if blend door works blower working check make sure you have enough coolant because suvs holds right much antifreeze.heater not working heater core plugged make sure both heater core hoses hot to touch if so problem could be temperature mode switch.

I replace #6 coil on 2001 expedition and a couple of days it started misfiring again.

The answer to that, is that what ever coil you
replaced was the wrong one.

You relied on the PO300 codes too much

Take that new coil out,put the old one back
and start walking the new coil ,until you find the
bad one.

There are other ways of testing but not at home
in the driveway

I have a 2001 Ford Expedition 4.6 4WD. Service engine soon light came on and when checked at parts store diagnostics said cylonder #2 miss firing. Is this a coil pack because we can't find plugs,...

If you do not see a distributor or spark plug wires, then you have a coil over plug system. Changing the coil pack is as easy as removing the hold down bolt and lifting the coil pack off the spark plug. Other things should be checked like signal to the coil, the fuel injector signal and the spark plug

2001ford taurus heating problem

recommend replacing coolant reservior cap also start car let it get to tempature put on glove and squeeze the upper radiatior hose together and if real weak and does not open up in your hand the water pump maybe weak but before you do all this check the condition of the drive belt because if the belt is slipping you will loose circulation in the coolant system and if there is a salvage yard near you or if it is not very expensive have you changed the temp sensor with the little wire on it not far from the thermastat housing

How To Replace the #5 coil for a 2001 Ford Expedition

if you know that it is the coil. changing it is really easy. you are going to need a 10mm socket with extention. a 7mm socket for the coil mount bolt. first leading bank is number 1-4 front going back( passenger side) driver side is 5-8. 5 is the front cylinder on drivers side. remove the power stearing bracket 3 10mm bolts. coil is right underneath. intake can be removed if you feel is needed. after that there is a 7mm bolt remove the bolt. disconnect the 2 pin connector. pull to remove the coil. the boot may come off if coil hasn't been moved in some time. use pliers to remove it if that happens. blow out spark plug hole with shop air. installed new coil. install 7mm bolt. plug connector in. reinstall power steering mount bracket. good to go.
