Could be an overflow issue or could be a cracked hose. Being in the mid to forward i could ask if your floor is wet below where the heater core is. If the latter is the case, then hoses hooked up to the heater core are at fault or the heater core itself is leaking. Do you smell coolant inside of vehicle? Of course without knowing where it is coming from is hard to answer.

Engine vacuum leak and oil level come down and car smoking and engine noise

You can find the vacuum leak easily. With engine running, spray some starting fluid near where you suspect the leak to be. If the engine speeds up from sucking the starting fluid in at the leak, you found the leak. Fix it. As for the burning oil and engine noisy, you will need to rebuild or replace the engine because it's worn out.

Coolant leak near oil pan

I would think maybe the water pump is leaking you will have to put it up on jack stands and wipe everything down under the car. Then if you start it for a minute or two shut it off you should be able to see where it's comming from.

Tried to lift the roof on convertable XK8 and hydraulic oil started to leak from the ceiling arounf the light cluster. How do I get at it to fix the leak/problem

you have a hydraulic leak there are two lines that meet in the middle by the light cluster both lines should be changed you have to pull back headliner to see lines and leak one line runs under drivers side panel near side of seat and other line runs under passenger side panel near the side of the seat going to the back seats and to the trunk where hydraulic motor and fluid box is its a hard job and takes about six hours to do lines arer 214.00 fluid is 70.00 and about 800 in labor

There is a leak that is bad enough the coolant tank drains within minutes im wondering if it could be a hose because it drains in the middle though closer to the opposite side of the car

If it's a hose, it will leak fast, but don't count out other things like the radiator, water pump, head gasket, etc.

fill the system up with antifreeze and water or just water for diagnosis purposes, and use a pressure tester to force fluid out faster.

Maybe, if the leak is fast, you can look under the car to see exactly where it is coming from.

You say middle and opposite side of car (is this as you're sitting in the driver's seat?).

Where is the leak, now?

Trasmission leaking and slipping. When you put fluid in its all on the ground.only slips when low on fluid. Could it be the seal?

Depending on the location of the leak from under the van. With the van setting on level ground have someone to fill the transmission with fluid( do not overfill) look under van to see if the fluid is coming from the front or rear or middle of transmission. If you cannot look under the van then use a large piece of cardboard and slide it under the van before you try to fill it to locate the leak. leak could be front or rear seals leaking or the pan gasket leaking. hope this will help you.

BMW 1995 318i - Car Running Hot

There is a blockage or leak in your cooling system. That may come in a few different forms:
Incorrectly installed thermostat
Water pump not functioning - you may see water dripping from the pump or a stain from the hole under the water pump.
Severely coroded hoses/coolant passages - if the fluid is brown and the inside of the radiator rusty
External leak - you would see fluid on the ground Internal leak - you would see steam/white smoke from the tail pipe or water in the oil (may look like chocolate milk or not), if the oil level is extremely high this would be a good indication
heater core bypassed

Water leaking in glove box? looks like there is a hose that comes into the box... water is dripping from that hose under the near the back of the engine .

There are three possible fluid can leak though the glove box.

Leaves and dirty block the drainage pathway..
Rain water/car wash water will seek the lowest spot.

AC condenser water drainage pathway may be block.

Windshield washer hose come off and window washer fluid somehow find it was to the interior.

Try to identify the smell of the liquid. It may just be Wet ones wipes.

Good luck

My 2001 7.3 diesel is leaking radiator fluid quite bad. The engine is staying cool. Does it have a gasket that could be leaking & are there more than 1 gaskets?

Hello,It sounds like your water pump may be going out. If the water is coming from the front middle of the truck under the engine. If you can see exactly where your water is leaking from I can help diagnose your problem.
