I need some help finding whats wrong with my car. Last summer it was blowing cold on drivers side but not passenger. I can hear the compressor working but it seems to be making hissing sound. Now it's not blowing cold air at all, it's all hot. Don't have a lot of money to put it in shop, and want to get some ideas. Thanks!

- My 2002 325Ci blows warm air out of the driver's side and hot air out of the passenger's side vents when the air conditioner is on. I have been told that it is the evaporator and that would require the entire dash to be removed. The quote to do so from the BMW dealership was about $600 for the part and about $2500 total after labor.
