Power windows don't work

The windows of my 2003 Durango will only work when they want to. Most of the time I have to use the drive side buttton in order to open and close the windows. It does ALWAYS work with the driver side buttons.

It's all the windows. They will only work when I use the driver's side switch. Their individual buttons only work when the want to. And yes, I have checked the child lock.

My RR failed to work. I removed the panel and some parts, disconnected the wiring harness from the motor then noticed the replacement I purchased was not correct. When I plugged the harness back up it worked!

Can only open the passenger and rear power windows from the master control on the drivers side

Most times it is the window regulator. But can't rule out the master switch. Both can be checked.

2003 dodge durango while driving lost acceleration, shut it off, restarted then drove fine for about 4 miles did the same thing but this time it didn't want to start. After a couple minutes it started

sounds like the crankshaft sensor gets warm and then opens up, once cooled off it closes again ( it is a transformer in epoxy housing ) I would replace it.

There should be a switch that you can slide on the drivers side somewhere.that switch is there so little kids don't open the doors or windows.if the switch is broke, that may be the reason for the windows not working.

Power drive side window will not go up passenage side works fine

NO COST and fast PROCEDURE TO (try to) FIX IT:

1. Sit in vehicle, on seat next to problematic window
2. Ignition key is on
3. Door in question is opened (in case you closed it)
4. While door is open, press and hold power window button in desired window travel, keep button pressed !!
5. SLAM hard the door closed with one hand while other hand holds button as per #4.
6. Watch window operate as it should.

7. Repeat 3-6 if necessary, but usually the first try works!

1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

2003 Nissan Maxima. Passenger power window problem

Same problem on passenger door 92,000 miles. Dealer said he can reset the regulator inside the door by pressing button. I am looking for more information on this problem too. He estimates 1/2 hr (~$50) to do work.

2003 Jeep Cherokee Door Panel Electrical Issue

i had the same priblem myself, its an easy fix if your any way handy.
the problem is the main power wire to the drivers door is broke or almost broke (due to switches working when door is closed) between the body off the car and the door you will find a rubber boot, slide the boot back from the car body side and you will find that the thick wire is broke due to the door opening and closing all the time. just add a small piece off cable the same gauge about 2inches (to allow movment in rubber boot) and solder both ends to join. that will solve your problem. ive fixed at least 5 off the jeeps with same problem. try it to see.
