Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I have a fuel tester that conects between the the fuel filter and the line. but when I connect it for some reason the fuel pump will not engage to test it is like there is a relay shutting it down. I am trying to determine if I have a bad fuel pump, sensor or something else going on. It statred running rough and staring hard the other day then it just would not restart. if I spray a starting fluid in the throttle body it will start and sometimes stay runing even restart for a while. Help!
Most probably fuel tester. Codes being different from one Co. to another, simply ask the technician to replace the fuel tester and get installed by any trained personnel who is also responsible to have them accepted as the default with the help of a PC. If its not done properly, these sensors will start a chain reaction * finally stop the engine to prevent further damage..........sodeep
