Check the valve on the pipe somewhere around the sight glass /receiver drier, if it's larger in diameter thn its a 134a , if its smaller in diameter thn its the F12.

do you have freon in the system because the low pressure switch will not let the compressor run with out enough freon dont know where the switch is but it should be near the dryer there is also a diode in the harness going to the compressor

How do i get my ac to work on my 94 honda accord?

You did not say you had check the Freon level or the low pressure switch on the dryer. The low pressure switch will shut down the compressor when it is low on Freon. Hope this helps.

2004 Honda Accord a/c will not come on. Blower motor resister was replaced last year. compressor would start and stop. now nothing. I have switched relays around but to no avail. Also winsheildwipers work...

You will probably need a shop manual to have the wiring diagrams needed to trace the circuits.
There may be other components that affect both the wipers and ac but I know the key switch does.

The air conditioning doesnt work it just blows hot air even with the ac on. i dont know whats wrong with it if everything needs to be replaced or just something simple. i know nothing about cars

What I would try first is recharge the a/s system, your car came with R12 freon, that type of freon is impossible to get these days, so you will need a retro fit kit to convert it to 134A freon, the kit will have two 134a fittings that screw on to your R12 port, so that the 134a recharge hose will go on, the low side will be the one your add freon through, it will be the thinker hose of the two, the thin one is the high side stay away from that one, you will also need one can of freon (134a), if it works, it might work for a while till the freon leaks out again, then you will have to take it it for repair, but this way you know it's just a leak and every thing else works.Good luck, let me know if I can be of more help.

How do I recharge the AC freon on my own?

You should have R12 freon in a 1990 but you can put R134 freon into that system the only problem your going to have is the adapter for R12 is different from R134 after you get the adapter you need to put the freon in the low pressure valve not the high pressure, you will know which one because the adapter only fits the low pressure valve which is located on your AC lines under your hood, theres a little cap thats either blue or black you unscrew. You can't buy r12 anymore because its not good for enviorment so buy R134. you can buy at any parts store for like $5 to $10.
