The horn can either be by the firewall "attached to it"

or by the grille...."inside" close to the radiator....

hope this helps....good luck...

My horn went out in my '99 Powerstroke, I was wondering where the fuse was. Is it under the hood or in the fuse panel beneath the dash?

Horn fuse is located under the dash in location #12, it's a 15A fuse. The horn relay is in relay location #3, also under the dash.

Ford f350 horn and cruise control quit working, whats the problem?

It is most likely a part called a clockspring. It is located behind the steering wheel. When that part is defective you will almost definitely lose your horn, airbag, and cruise control. If it is not that it is probably corroded at the harness located on the steering column or at the cruise control module in the engine bay. If you have tilt, which you probably do, those wires can become frayed at the plug or directly after the plug at the column. I would start with fuses, then wires, then clockspring.

I have a 1999 ford f350 ford 4x4 7.3 the horn starts blowing

there is a short in the horn wiring, you may disconnect the horn relay, that the easiet thing to do. owners manual should have a layout of where the relay is. Steering wheel switches most likely.

The horn is located on left side of radiator below head light. You will have to remove left (driver side) battery and tray to gain access.

1988 Ford Crown Vic Horn Relay Location

The horn relay IS NOT located in a box toward the front of the engine. It is located just behind the radiator overflow reservoir and attached to the inner fender next to two other relays. It is the only one without a plastic cover over the top of it. FYI, our Crown Vic horn didn't blow, and the cruise didn't work. I changed the relay and still no horn. I decided to check the horns themselves. Found wires disconnected from terminals. Touched wire to horn terminal and horn blew incessantly. (previous owner had disconnected horn rather than diagnose why) Pulled the horn "button" from steering wheel and disconnected the wire leads and horn quit. Disassembled the "button" assembly. Foam had degraded over time between the contacts. (Ford has discontinued this part). Cleaned and replaced foam with Scotch foam mounting squares with holes punched out over contacts (2 layers thick). Re-assembled and viola! Horn and cruise control both work! Relay was bad as was horn button.
