The blower resistor is definitely your problem. They've been updated, it should be located in the blower housing, I believe way up under the dash on the passenger side.
If you have a cam sensor code, it is probably bad and needs to needs to be replaced. Sometimes a severely worn engine can cause this code to set. How many miles and which engine?

With that mileage, it could very well be a worn timing chain that is causing the code. It is time to do it if you plan to keep the car. I would have the chain done as maintenance before replacing the cam sensor.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to take it out, it a huge pain if you do. You should be able to see the resistor bolted to the side of the housing. Undo the two screws and disconnect the wiring harness and just pull it out.

It should be on the passenger side, but not through the glove box. You have to go under the dash I believe. If you haven't bought the new one yet it should look like this:

It is mounted in the blower housing right next to the body of the fan motor.

No voltage on crank sensor grand am 2001 2.4

The crank and cam sensors produce ac voltage that is sent to the computer. There are magnets or components on the crank and cam that the sensors "read".
The problem could be the harness between the sensors and the computer, or a mechanical problem like a timing chain or gear.

Car stop running just cut off.could it be the starter.

No the starter has nothing to do with your car staying running you should check fuel issues fuel pump injectors regulators. Also most likely check ignition components spark plugs spark plug wires distributor cap and rotor or coil if equipped either or and check coil pick up sits underneth coil packs i would go to advanced auto parts and they can check coil pick up and coils or you can by pulling out spark plug and putting it back in wire set spark plug next to engine block if you see blue spark coil is good if orange bad not hot enough to ignite gasoline. is your check engine light on if so get codes read for free at autozone or advanced auto could also be crankshaft postion sensor or camshaft postion sensor lmk if it helps. if it helps please leave 4 star reviw and good comment thanks

Where is the speed sensor at on a 3.3 V6

Depends what you mean. Is your speedometer not working? Wheel speed sensors on Caravans are mounted at the wheels, at the end of the axle shafts. A problem with Caravans that I see alot of is the circuit board for the instrument cluster. The solder joints for the wire plug usually crack making a bad contact for the two black wires connecting to it. Just resolder ALL the terminals for this wire plug. Engine speed sensors like crankshaft postion is mounted on the bellhousing of the transmission and camshaft position sensor mounts to the top of the timing case cover, in which the bottom of the sensor is positioned above the camshaft sprocket.

On my 99 intrepid i canged both cam and crank positioning sensors the check engin light came on agin, with the code p0340. Can it be my wiring.

What does that mean? This indicates that a problem was detected in the camshaft position sensor circuit. Since it says circuit, that means the problem could lie in any part of the circuit - the sensor itself, the wiring, or the PCM. Don't just replace the CPS (camshaft position sensor) and think that will definitely fix it.
Symptoms Symptoms can include:
  • Hard starting or no start
  • Rough running / misfiring
A code P0340 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
  • a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken
  • the camshaft position sensor may have failed
  • the PCM may have failed
  • there exists an open circuit
  • the crankshaft position sensor may have failed

With a P0340 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times. Here are some things to try:
  • Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit
  • Check for continuity in the circuit wiring
  • Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor
  • Replace the camshaft position sensor as required
  • Check the crankshaft position circuit as well
  • Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required
  • Diagnose/replace the PCM as required

Where is locate the camshaft position sensor on 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo limited 4.7 l

The camshaft position sensor is located inside the distributor. It is a hall effect swich, simply remove the distributor cap and the rotor and you can lift it out, unplug and replace.
Have fun but beware a bad crankshaft position sensor can cause a false cam sensor code to be set sometimes.
Good luck.

2001 saturn sc2 gets code 341&340 camshaft sensor

if you have high resistance in secondary ign. system (plug wires, ign.coil) this will cause this code to set. make sure you are using a high quality spark plug wire set. not from autozone!!! and denso non platinum tipped spark plugs. also use a diaelectric grease on plug wires to keep moisture out.
