Question about 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe
My truck failed to start this after noon. I have replaced the fuel relay and I checked to see if the fuel pump was getting power and the pump has no power. Does the tahoe have another fuse or relay for the fuel system? or is my fuel pump just bad. Fuel filter is new.
I am having the same problem with my 96 pickup i am getting low voltage to my fuel pump i have traced the wires back to the front the purpel wire is the one with low voltage i replaced fuel pump also fuel relay and still have low voltage

Check for voltage at the pump. If it has 12v there, (and a good ground) then pump is bad. there may be a pump fuse on the fuse block (can't remember) but if you find it has blown, the pump may be getting ready to fail. If fuse fixes the problem, replace it and carry an extra with you, then change the pump.
