Car powers down while driving

Guru, I checked the cable wire no corosion. The car never powers down when i start and drive. But when I start and go in reverse she will powerdown and hesitate. I just had me ignition replace due to vandalism. Do you think it could be wires in that area?

No nothing is working so far. 1 full day no problems. Then yesturday i went out and was 45 mins before i got out of the parking lot..she wouldn;t go in reverse or drive. Finally something connected but i had to press on the brake and give her gas until I got out of the parking stall. Then hestiated ..stop go stop go and then finally she ran smooth till i got her home. She started fine this morning and then just before i got to where I was going she powered down again...service light came on etc. but did not stall. So i parked her and once again put her in reverse and dead. Then 10 mins later she started and went in reverse. ? can i rule out the fuel pump? or could this be my transmission going?

Ok its not anything to do with the ignition. So bottom line. She start wonderful. But dies in reverse(80%) of the time and few times in drive.Funny thing is she loves to power down when I get to the same road while I am comin to work and the road is a little warpped.

you really need to take this car back to where the work was done and insist that they repair it. If it never did this before the repair, chances are it's something they can find fairly quickly because they will know exactly what was touched.

That would be the first place to look if the problem started right after that job!

I noticed you replace the crankshaft sensor, but not the CAMshaft sensor.
The Ignition module takes the input of both sensors to tell the coil when to energize.
This sensor should come up as an error code when you attach a obd reader.
Even if your light is not on - there may be a code. If it is not your vehicle originally, some people pull the bulb!

Tuneup time is around 90,000 to 100,000 miles. If it were to ignition coil you would feel the misfire. Plugs, wires, airfilter and fuel filter should be changed before cat is. Plugs will tell the story.

It sounds like you may have burned out your fusable link. It's a special wire that comes off the starter solennoid and is designed to burn off in the event of an overload. DO NOT REPLACE IT WITH REGULAR WIRE, THIS IS A LEADING CAUSE OF CAR FIRES.
You will want to check for what caused the overload condition that caused the fusable link to burn out in the first place.

you need to drive the car and see if it bogs down when accelerating and if dies when pushing accelerator then the fuel filter is clogged but the beeping is because car looses power also check make sure the battery cables clean and tight and check alternator wires for tightness and cleanness no corrosion

Try checking the starter for corosion if any is present, first disconnect the battery and remove all the corosion from the starter bolts and starter wires and then give it a try.

When I shift my 96 camaro from it starts shaking and no power.

The "blinking" service engine light is indicating an over fueling problem that can damage the catalytic converter.
You will need to have the codes read to narrow the problem down.
I would suggest you not drive the vehicle as you may cause unnecessary damage to the emission system (convertor) and added expense to repair.
Good luck.
Let me know.

Problem with fuse or something

loose connections.. possible at the battery or starter or back of alternator. check and clean connections at battery. move wire harness in or around fuse block while engine is running. Does moving wires recreate the problem? check connection at starter motor. check for corosion. remove negative cable from engine and clean good.
