The age of the blazer makes me wonder. How is the maintenance on the truck? Usually you hear this issue and you look to see if there is oil pressure, if its present then is there sludge or contaminates blocking the flow of oil. Would you give more info.

The oil galleries are probably plugged.

use a very thin wire and carefully insert it into the holes .you may have trouble finding them if there is alot of sludge on the heads

if you use transmission fluid to remove the varnish,no more than 250 ml.

Where is the oil pressure/fuel pump switch located on a 1994 chevy blazer s10

I will assume this is a 4.3 engine, the oil pressure /fuel switch is located on the rear of the engine next to distributor, what is the problem?

Intake manifold 1996 Blazer S10

do you mean the valve cover ? because I don't think you can have the intake manifold backward.(if it's backward, you cannot connect the upper hose and the fuel lines)
so any way, it sound like you have the valve cover swapped. it won't hurt to drive but it is a problem to fill the engine oil as you stated.

1991 chevy S10 blazer fluctuating oil pressure

I assume from the year it has high mileage. With mileage comes wear in these engine's bearings allowing oil pressure to drop because of the excess clearance between cam and bearings, also the crank and bearings. When the engine is hot and idling the oil is thinner and goes by the bearings quicker. If you have good oil pressure while driving, I'd leave it alone, maybe use a thicker oil or some lucas additive. My 89 does the same thing sometimes in the summer, but don't remember it doing it this summer. I use Mobil-1 and an AC Delco filter.

Timing on a 2000 chevy s10 blazer 4.3. Replaced bent push rod and valve, now can't find any specific guidance on how timing is to be set.

The timing is not adjustable. There are two lines on the harmonic balancer, the first line should line up with the mark on the timing cover, towards the bottom, on the driver side of the engine, the second line should line up with an arrow on the timing cover above the first mark. You'll need to have the rotor in the distributor lined up with the "6" on the distributor housing. You may need a long screw driver to turn the oil pump shaft to get the distributor lined up right.

At idle the oil pressure should be at least 20# at highway speed it should be at least 30# these pressures are on the low end higher is better.
