Would you better describe the tick in question? If the vehicle is running fine and oil pressure is normal you may just be hearing the fuel injectors. Which is normal. There is a cam tick sound and a crank tick sound, If you can not tell them apart then bring it to a mechanic and as them their opinion.

Its probably your lifters. They get gunked up and start sticking. Get some Valve Medic or similar valve treatment and add it to the oil, it should help disolve that gunk.

No, just keep an eye on it to see it does not start staying on longer and longer. The oil pressure sensor my be a little off,and at worse the oil pump is a little weak. Just keep up on the oil changes.3500 miles max.
