Audi a6 quattro 1999 flashing oil sign & beeping

I have a audi a6 quattro 1999 when ever i drive for a little bit i get a beeping sound and a flashing oil canaster pops up on the center dash. I have no idea what it could mean being as my oil is actually above the "full" marker i know that is bad but i figured i would try filling it a bit more to get that thing to shut off... anyone know what other fluid it could be talking about... just put in anti freeze so it cant be that either. although my anti freeze was low when this all started happening and thats why i filled it

any suggestions are appreciated email me when ever thank you for your time

It sounds like your sensor for low oil level has become defective or the wire lost its connection.

When is the last time you got an oil change? Did they reset the system? The light may be trying to let you know you know you need an oil change,

A6 turbocharged. Whyu does it smoke when it covers a 120km per hour?

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

Starting problem on my audi a6 2.8 quattro,,, i need help

Sounds like the gas presser valve or weak fuel pump. When it dose it again turn the switch on and leave it on for about 3 mins. and see if it will start. If it dose I would say the pump is weak.

You have to bleed the system, most likely air, or you blew the fuel pump fuse !

Oil Warning light.

I would take it to the dealer immediately. This could indicate a serious oil pump problem. It may be nothing, but if your oil pump goes out, your engine will lock up; and that means you'll, at best, be repairing major parts. At worst, you'll be buying a new car!

Audi Quattro A6 will not go into drive

It's the brake pedal switch. There is a switch down on the pedal arm that closes when you press the pedal down, and sends a sensing voltage to the controller, telling it the brakes are applied. This allows the transmission lock to disengage so you can shift out of Park. When that switch fails, the lock won't disengage. You need to replace that switch and you'll be fixed.
