If your turbo started any sooner you would be spinning your tires everytime you tried to take off. Your turbo is working just fine.

While turbo spooling is normal, there can be an access amount if the bearing is bad, do not know if Mazda has this problem but i know it runs rampant in most turbo cars that spend a lot of time driving in the 3500-4200 RPM range.

No spool and wastegate wont open

I dont think anyone can hear the wastegate open. It opens when there is overboost and just routes exhaust around the turbo You may have heard the over boost valve open and release pressure., but normally, it doesnt open unless there is a problem with the waste gate. Its like a back up in case the waste gate is bad, or disconnected. Does the engine have the same amount of power as it always has? If so everything should be OK.

Truck takes off but turbo doesnt spool and wont shift

turbocharged diesel engines require some back pressure in the exhaust system. if you straight piped it, it won't make any power.
check vss in trans and exhaust sys for a problem.

2002 audi a4 quattro maintain acceleration problems

Likely a faulty diverter valve. If you have some decent mileage on the car the DV may be failing. It's a flimsy design with a plastic internal diaphragm. They're not terribly expensive (you can buy them at www.ecstuning.com or www.purems.com).

That being said, I'd still look around the turbo and intake systems for a loose, cracked, or disconnected vacuum hose - a vacuum leak should trip a check light but it may not always do so. Look for that, and if nothing is apparent, then I'd look at changing the DV.

Seat belt problem

okay hears the deal take the interior coner panel off on the side right behind the sea you will find the retracter take the cover off and loosen the spring till you can freely hold the belt then reajust the spring...take then tighten the spring down and let the belt go till the spool is just about full then mark the part of the belt were when i is spooled would be stoped at the corner panel then sew some kind of coth stop on it so that the spool doesnt get overwound and the sprong locks or the belt gets jammed i had to do that with one of my buddies trucks and yes it is a pain inthe ***

Turbo spooling too high

Sounds like the gate valve is stuck. This valve dumps excess pressure when the turbo makes it.
