2002 Pontiag Grand Prix GT 3.8 Runing rough and stalling at stops
2002 Pontiag Grand Prix GT 3.8 Runs rough with service engine light flashing at highway speeds, when you stop it stalls out and wont stay running unless you feather the throttle. Also the fuel gauge drops to empty and the low fuel light comes on even though it is not empty. The other day while driving the horn suddenly beeped once, and my hands were nowhere near the horn.

Having a qualified repair shop do diagnostic's on the vehicle would be your best bet . Could be any number of thing's ,engine mangement system sensor's , fuel system , ignition system , engine mechanical systems etc.... Could be as simple as just needing spark plug's & wire's , fuel filter . But , some testing should be done by a qualified technician with a professional scanner .You don't want to get into a guessing game , one person tell's you it's this or that , because without doing testing they are just guessing . 011 Fuel System Tests Fuel System Scan Data 012 Ignition System Tests Start Here

The auto parts has a aerosol can of cleaner for about 8$ designed to clean this part. Carefully remove it from the tube housing and spray it off with the cleaner. sounds like you have a vacuum leak, check all the vacuum hoses and replace any broken or kinked ones, also check around the intake manifold gasket for leaks. any air leaks after the air flow meter creates 'un-metered' air which inturn will make the car run rough and stall, hope this helps
