Check the turn signal switch... purchase one then plug it in under the steering column first then check them...if all lights work, change the switch out..if not , take back and tell them it was not installed and you dont need it

In a 1997 pickup parking lights not working and license plate light not working.Checked all fuses and are ok .Is there something else I can check.bulbs ok

Sounds like a faulty terminal inside the connector for the tail lights. Start from the rear under truck and inspect the connectors by disconnecting them.

2000 Chevy Silverado parking lights stay on. Will not shut off

Are all parking lights on or just front daytime running lights only? Either case sounds like a light control module in your fuse panel stuck.

Turn lights on and all lights work but parking lights. I recently replaced switch and wiring harness for lights. Found blown fuse under dash and under hood. Replaced both. Now when I turn lights on I get...

Whenever I have had light problems, it seems 99% of the time it's related to the trailer wiring connector. Disconnect it and try the lights. You should be able to make an easy disconnection near the rear bumper by separating the wiring harness leading to the trailer connector.. If that doesnt work, make sure you have the correct relay and it's wired correctly. You may have the switch installed incorrectly or have the wrong switch altogether. One other thought, have you installed any auxillary lights? There may be a crossed wire somewhere.

2001 Monte Carlo SS 3.8 v6 Rear park lights are out as well as the dash lights, brake lights work headlights work front running and park lights work, all turn signal lights work. replaced headlight switch...

Park, Tail, Marker Lamps, and License
The park, tail and marker lamps, including the license lamps, turn on when the headlamp switch is placed in either the PARK or the HEAD position, or anytime the headlamps are requested. The RT I/P #1 fuse in the RH I/P fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to both the park lamp relay switch contacts and to the park lamp relay coil circuit. The park lamp relay coil is controlled by the body control module (BCM). When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARK position, the BCM energizes the park lamp relay coil control circuit.
Current flows from the park lamp relay switch to both front and rear park lamp fuses and to their respective park/tail lamps. The front park lamps are grounded at G101. The rear park lamps are grounded at G302. The license plate lamps are a part of the rear park lamp circuit and are grounded at G302. The inadvertent power control feature prevents the park lamps from remaining on more than 10 minutes if left on. If the park lamps are turned on after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or is in the ACCY position, they will remain on until turned off or until the battery runs dead.

Did you the REAR PARK LP fuse 15 amp in the right insturment panel fuse box.

2004 ford f350 diesel parkinglights will not come on fuses are good, switch is good is there a relay that cant be found how to fix the problem or can i hook them to the headlight wire without a problem

No relay, does your truck have running lights across the hood too? Have you ever wrecked the vehicle? It sounds like a broken wire somewhere, or your switch could be bad. The main light switch that works the headlights, parking and tail lights have three different circuits inside it to work the lights. You can have headlights and tail lights but no parking. Electrical issues can be a pain do you have a good mechanic you can take it too or do you own a good multimeter or test light?

99 f350 and parking lights won't shut off when turned off

The headlight switch could be damaged but to disconnect the radio first as some radios that did'nt come with the car may be connected wrong and power is going from the power wire at the radio to the dash light circuirt feeding thouth it to the regular lights. pulling the cig lighter fuse solves the problem points you to this answer.

No parking lights on a 04' f350 superduty all other lights work

Odds are the problem is in your headlight switch, the plug or the switch over heats and loses connection.
