Heater/AC fan wont turn off

I just bought a 97 laredo and i noticed that the fan doesnt turn off when switched to that postion....every other setting works fine (i.e. defrost, floor) and the speed setting works fine, but when you turn it off, it still blows air and you can definitely hear it on

Auto Camry 97 cooling fan is not switching on automatically, the temp gauge shows normal temp. Also both AC and cooling fan works when AC is switched on?

If the temp gauge shows normal, you would not expect the fan to be on much. It is controlled by the coolant temp sensor. If the fan will not come on when the car gets really hot, it is possible this sensor has failed.

It is normal for both AC and cooling fans to be on when you turn on AC to cool setting.

Ac fan motor doesnt work on low speeds only on

I will assume the heater fan also doesn't work on low. You will need to replace the fan speed selector switch

My fan in my 97 honda accord doesnt come on

when turning ac on the fans come on automatically ,sounds like u need to bleed cooling system ,get the air out ,look near goose neck or whre ur top hose goes in and look for a bleeder, fill up coolnat jug and radiator and loosen bleeder when nothing but coolant comes out (no air ) the shut bleeder off,,, if this doesnt help replace thermaste and repeat proceedure

Fan problem?

My guess would be is the temperature switch to turn on the fans on the radiator has gone faulty or the electrical connections on it are faulty. Either way, as long as these fans are running, nothing is harmed, but have it checked to make sure this is proper operation for the vehicle, if the switch has gone bad, eventually it could give a signal for the fan not to turn on, and the vehicle could potentially overheat causing serious motor damage.
