Sounds like either the stoppers fell out, or you will need to readjust the track. You will have to remove door panel and visually inspect track and slider. Should be stops at bottom of slide rails

the track runs through the window motor and guide rails. The motor will have to be disassembled and lifted. The motor has plastic gear with teeth that go through the holes on the belt.

Canter window wont wind up

this happens if the window goes down too far because the stop has moved or broken off. Try refitting it as there should ne no parts necessary as the rollers are either "v" shaped or will run in a track. Make sure the window glass channels are correctly adjusted after fitting the roller back in and check for max down position

I have a 1999 chevy suburban and my window works but it only goes down so far (about 2 inches)any suggestions

I'm going to assume they are power windows . pull the door panel and check the window track alignment , if it is OK listen to the motor as you try to move the window . if the motor stops immediately , it's bad , if it humms check for binding in the mechanism .

The driver side window on my 95' Chevy K1500 goes off track if it is rolled completely down. I get the feeling I am missing a stopper or something that should stop the window before it goes all the way...

Yes there should be a stop if the window is power. You may be missing a guide also.
Someone will need to pull the door panel off and take a look at the tracks.

My drivers front window is down and all other windows are working. How do I fix the problem?

this could possibly be the switch for that window, however, it is most likely the window motor located inside the door.. if it doesnt make ANY noise when you hit the switch to roll it up, then it is either the switch or the window motor.. if it DOES make a noise inside the door like the window is being rolled up when you hit the switch then your window glass has come out of the track and is laying inside the window and not being lifted up in the track
