I am having trouble starting my 93 altima. I have

I am having trouble starting my 93 altima. I have eplaced the fuel filter and the injectors are less tahn a year old. Once started, it runs fine. According to the service manual, it suggests to check the "choke plate". however, there is no other reference of the choke plate anywhere else in the manual. Where is it or am I looking at replacing the fuel pump?

i've checked the plugs and wires and they are ok. I think it's the fuel pump, just hoping it would be something else. Also, I still can't find anything else about the "chock plate" that is mentioned in the service manual.

93 altima same fuel injector goes bad 2 times in 1 month

how did you find out it is the injector causing the problem? the injectors are wired in series on these vehicles, it is possible that another faulty injector may be causing the problem. although it may be difficult to find if this happens intermittently. A scope test may be the only way to find the problem. Does the engine light come on with a misfire code on Cylinder #1? P0301 or r u just getting a random misfire code P0300 ? a bit more info on the vehicle may also be helpful........ engine size? # of cylinders 4 or 6 ?

We have a 93 saturn wagon .its ben having trouble starting, it wont turn over all the way unless you pump the gas while starting it , then it will turn on without a problem for several hours , and then...

PROBLEM IS IN FUEL SYSTEM.CHANGE FUEL FILTER AND AIR FILTER.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS.ADD A BOTTLE OF SEAFOAM TO 3/4 TO FULL TANK OF GAS.IF PROBLEM PERSIST.CHECK FUEL PUMP.PRESSURE SHOULD BE 26 - 31 PSI OR 31 - 36 PSI.

I HAVE HONDA ACCORD 93 AND IT WONT START , CAN

yes it could be the fule filter . You will need to find out if there is fuel going to the injectors this is easy done by removing the inlet pipe to the injector rail and turning the ignition to postion 2 just before cranck. If there is no sign of fule then it couls be your filter .If there is fuel at the injector rail let me no and i will assits further

1996 Altima cranks, won't start

First, never use starting fluid on a gasoline engine. Check for dirty air filter, then check for Mass air flow sensor (Fault code) . This sensor controls fuel mapping, bad signal here will cause over fueling (black smoke) also called loading up (rich). Stopped up Air filter will affect Mass air flow. Perform OBD II test to prevent buying unneeded parts. Also delete stored codes.

I have a 93 altima that will crank but will not start...about a couple months ago i went to my work and shut off my car. it was running fine when i shut it off.. when i came back out and started my car...

this year model is notorious for fuel related probs...check the remainder of the fuel system, injectors, and the fuel pressure regulator also verify that the fuel pump is actually running and getting the correct amount of power to the pump itself..... it may not be bad just not getting enough power

MY 01 Nissan Altima does not want to start.

Sounds like either the fuel pressure regulator or a clogged fuel filter.
