it already has a tune up, i did it when i put the motor in the car.
it runs fine til u stop a light and let it idle 4 a couple mins. but the car run fine otherwise.
My mass air flow sensor dose nit work, that might be most of the proble but how could i fix it? i put it on a tester and there is no sigh of the maf sensor working, what would i be able 2 do 2 the wiring harness 2 fix the proble?it already has a tune up, i did it when i put the motor in the car.

Re: The car acts like it is geting to much fuel, it spits...
I would give it a basic tune up, spark plugs and wires. If the problem persists try the mass air flow sensor, otherwise have a mechanic set the idle speed.
I don't think its a wiring problem, the maf sensors just get old. If your not getting any voltage to it that might be a wiring problem so check that. Otherwise get a used one from a scrap yard and try putting that in. If it is a wiring problem trace the wires going to and from the sensor.

Try turning the key on and off 3 or 4 times then start. if this helps, then replace the fuel filter. You might go ahead and check the air filter too. take it out and try to start if it does better replace it, if it is dirty replace it.don,t just leave it out it will cause you problems down the road. Let me know we can go from there Randy
sounds like a typical throttle position sensor problem, ye before you get there check the air filter and make sure that youf fuel is not contaminated it is either your TPS or the air flow meter is going bad both are expensive sorry
The fuel pump relay will cause a stalling or no start condition. You are likely having mass airflow sensor, fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator issues.
verify if you have a clogged egr tube and passageway. Also running an injector cleaner though the system or having it professionally done could improve idle condition. Do you have a check engine light on?
Just recently fixed a customers car with the cleaning of the EGR tube and passageways. But she has a P0400 code along with the engine light.
