Were is speed censour located

the output speed sensor is located on the transmission. while standing in front of the vehicle and looking down at the transmission you will see two rubber hoses. under those hoses you will see the input speed sensor. if you look to the right of that sensor, and you may have to look from underneath the vehicle you will see another sensor that is identical to the input speed sensor. That is the output speed sensor. The output speed sensor is the one that shows how fast you are moving on the speedometer.

Where do u locae a speed sensor on a 2006 chrysler 300?

A wheel speed sensor?

They are located at each individual wheel.

An output or input speed sensor?

They are located on the drivers side of the transmission. They are yellowish white in color and look identical to each other. You will need a 1 inch socket to remove and replace them.

The input speed sensor is towards the front of the transmission and the output speed sensor is located toward the rear of the transmission.

My 2001 Chrysler Voyager will not go over 40-45mph, the rpms go way up and the van looses power to accel any faster. The transmission fluid looks good and there seems to be no leaks, what could this be? ...

Is the check engine light on?

The transmission defaults into second gear when there is a transmission fault. The two most common problems that cause this are the input and output speed sensors. The fault code retrieved from the transmission control module will let you know which one if one is bad.

The input speed sensor is the one right under the transmission cooler lines where they go into the transmission. The output speed sensor is the one one the right of the transmission (driver side) and looks almost identical to the input speed sensor. Both sensors can be removed with a basic set of tools and a one inch deep socket to remove the sensor itself.

I have a 2000 plymouth voyager with error codes P0700,P1782,P0731, and P0755 and have no clue how to repair or how much repair is Can anyone help out?

speed sensor most likely this transmission runs 2 an input and an output. if your speedometer is fluctuating or not working it would be output problem if not probably an input speed sensor. these sensors can be purchased for around 40$ i believe at your local dodge/chrysler dealer.

replacement is fairly easy. open hood remove air cleaner locate the sensor on the transmission. in put is closet to engine. unplug sensor remove by unscrewing it. reverse for installation. disconnect battery for 2 min to clear codes and road test

Where are the two speedometer sensors on a 2001 chrysler voyager

I believe the sensors you are looking for are found near the "Trans Fluid" fill tube. One of the sensors
"Input Turbine Speed" is found between the transaxle coolant lines conections and the "output speed sensor is found the right of the former. I have a manual I could scanand email
I hope this may have helped,

Shift solenoid problem on Dodge caravan/ chrysler voyager. is it easy to change the parts and also the speed sensors input and output

Here goes.Remove neg batt cable 10 mm, Remove elec connector to solenoid 6mm. Remove trans lines from trans(sometimes you can get away with not doing this) Remove speed sensor connector small screwdriver just to get the tab to release. Use 1inch scoket to remove spped sensor (just needs to be loose) spin out by hand. Remove 3 blolts 8mm holding the solenoid to trans. When puting new one in make sure the area is clean, clean, clean. Use new gasket. Dealer gasket trans solenoid 04659982 & replace o ring on speed sensor part#06501657ab. The bolts on solenoid snug them down but don't over tighten them. The speed sensor is 20lb torque. The right speed sensor part is 06501658ab this one is blue the left is black. Hope this helps.

How to change speed sensor for cirrus 2000

There should be 2 on the drivers side of the transmission. An input speed sensor 4800878 $21.95 and an output speed sensor 4800879 $21.95. These are easy to replace. First locate the 2 which should have a wiring harness attached to them, Second unhook the wires, Third unscrew them out individually as to not get them confused because they are different in shape just barely. Fourth screw in the new ones,Fifth replace the wires and you should be done.
