My 2003 neons has a slight pecking noise coming from the engine and feels like it will stall when stopped at a stop light. It doesn't choke out but I can't tell what is causing it...

As i come to a stop, car feels like it is going to stall. tps voltage is.66 at idle. runs good otherwise.

Suggest you check/clean your Idle control system valve. It's attached either to the throttle body or intake manifold, and controls the idle speed of the engine based on load.

Before that, check the brake booster hose for any vacuum leaks, and check that the booster itself isn't leaking.

These are classic symptoms of an O2 sensor.Go to autozone and ask them to read the engine code. They will tell you what is wrong more conclusively.
