If by drive belt you mean serpentine belt, chances are the problem is the idler pulley or another pulley. Check to see if any of the visible pulleys have the outer edge worn off or snapped off, and then look underneath the tensioner to find the idler pulley; the factory idler pulley is plastic and will shatter after a while. A replacement costs about $10 and is made of steel. As for the dash and fog lights, first thing I'd check is the fuses. There are 3 fuse panels in an Aurora, and one relay center under the hood. The first one is in between the dash and driver's door, just open the door and you should see it. The other 2 are located under the back seat; put your hands underneath the seat and give a firm tug and the seat should pop up. The owner's manual will detail which fuse does what. If the problem isn't a fuse or relay, and you've installed an aftermarket radio, chances are you didn't connect the illumination wire correctly, especially if you didn't use an adapter. If this is the case, locate the yellowish-olive wire, and use a voltmeter to measure the voltage coming from it with the lights on and off; it should read 12 to 14.4 volts with them on, and 0 with them off. The simplest solution is to simply ground this wire out to something, this completes the circuit when you turn on your lights for the instrument panel lights to work correctly.

Its funny cuz i just keep seeing the same problem come up over and over, so i guess i'll just keep reposting this link. Good luck. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

My 95 aurora has a message on dash that says check charging system. the car stalls while running a while. idling. what could this be?

check battery voltage with multimeter while running across battery posts. should read 14.0 volts there about. if it reads battery voltage (12.0-12.5), suspect alternator failure. also check accessory belt and idlers, etc.

If anyone has worked under the hood or in the dash get your copy of what you paid and head to the dealer most dashes boards newer then 95-96 need dealer codes and scanner's to re boot if in safe (anti theft) bit if it starts check the fuses it may be in a seperate connector, your bcm (body control mod) is first to check those computer dashes are very sensative
