Porsche 944 - Car has been lying for a few years - get a boot light and a glove compartment but nothing else - please help. George J

    Do you have a new battery in it? Have you checked all the fuses with a test light?

Contact folks at Pelican Parts.com - they might be able to help you. Other than that you might check Ebay for a repair manual. There are no free wiring diagrams (that I can source online - sorry)

Porsche 944 1985 after switching batteries my car won't start but all other electrical systems work


COULD BE BAD BATTERY GROUND CABLE.YOU GETTING POWER PROBABLY NOT ENOUGH TO TURN STARTER.IF BATTERY CABLES OVER 10 TO 15 YEARS OLD REPLACE THEM SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

1094 944 porsche cranks but wont fire. fuel pump has no power to it. i changed the ignition. still nothing. could it be the factory alarm.please help.


run a fused wire from the positive side of your fuel pump to your "on" side of your ignition switch bypassing the alarm kill switch and, allowing you to drive the car

Good Price for a 944?



A funny old saying is the most expensive things in life are a free boat and a cheap Porsche.

The cost can vary for labor but for parts check out www.rockauto.com and the normal parts houses.

It will be a money pit, even if you do ALL the labor. If this is a 2nd car and you have free money to play with then ok. But it is also not a fast car. Its more of a Lux Sprts coupe.
