94 pontiac grand am think its a fuel pump how do i check

using a test light have someone turn key on and crank whike you test for power at the pump, a trick that sometimes works is to have someone crank while you bang on bottom center of the tank this sometimes shakes pump into running again if the car starts then replace the pump. hope this helps.

No power problem

to help figure out what is going on with your car, the first thing to do is get the code downloaded to see what the cause is. A local auto parts store, such as auto zone, can download your codes and get you in the ballpark as to what failed. If they have a parts recommendation, give it a shot...

94 pontiac grand am stalls at stop lights/signs

Try checking for vavuum leaks. Possibly at the PCV valve. Had a friend whose 94 grand am 2.3 did the same thing... had two or three vacuum leaks and one of them was a totally shredded PCV hose. Hope this helps!
