Question about 1999 Honda Civic
Experiencing a sudden drop in fuel effecieny of the Honda civic EK 3 vtec 1999 model. Used to get consistently about 8.5KM/Liter in city , has dropped to 7Km/Liter. There is no indication of check engine light coming up in the dash board. Have changed the plugs/Filter/CVT gear oil/ and throttle body cleaned, yet no improvement.
Checked brakes for possible wheel(s) dragging, as well as tire pressures up to max recommended pressure, and observe if tire wear unusual, signifying improper alignment? Any difference in engine oil grade used?
