if 4X4 transfer case fluid needs change
differential fluid needs change "both if 4X4"
brakes need service if they havent recently
coolant is probably bad too
how is the battery?
check serpentine belt

these are just a couple......"there could be a couple that dont need service but this is what i would do".

The gm dealer can give you an accurate factory recommendation.
how long you have owned the truck and it's previous history will determine what needs doing.
with 100000 miles, items like water pump, fuel pump, exhaust parts, plugs, wires, cap rotor,calipers,bearings,02 sensor could all be issues but you need to know if they need changing as well as whether the engine needs a timing belt or chain.

I need to know when the timing belt needs replacing, my toyota camry 2002 has done 238,000, when do i need to change it again? 300,000?

Rule of thumb is at 100,000 miles it should be done. Has it ever been changed? If not, it may be a timing chain and that will have a self tensioner. If you plan to do it yourself this video may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlDIrrgkrIc hope it helps

My chevy has about 98000 miles. When is tune up recommended.what is involved in the tune up?

what engine? The fuel filter is in the fuel tank, Spark plugs should be replaced, throttle body cleaned, and the truck generally checked over, battery , belts, brakes, tires ect. Spark plugs, trans fluid, filter, transfer case fluid change, are all due at 100k. You should have the 100K service done. Of course they base that on if you have been following the service schedule. Your owners manual will list all things that are due.

Hesitation . when should i get a tune up 2005 chevy aveo

When it needs it. Just because a manual says 100,000 miles on spark plugs and you only have 75,000 on the clock does not mean you can go another 25,000. 75,000 in town miles may be like 100,000 freeway miles.
If there is a servicable fuel filter, I like to change them at least every other oil change. They are $20 for my car but I rather spend that than have trouble with the fuel system.

If you go to autozone you can buy a haynes maintenance/repair manual for around $20.00 and everything you need to know is there. That was easy !

How do you know when youneed a tune up on a 2001ford taurus

Owner's manula will specify what needs to be done and when under the maintence chart. Newer cars generally go 60,000 to 100,000 miles before needing to replace the spark plugs. On most cars that is about all you do besides changing the oil (generally every 3,000 mile). Read the owner's manual and don't let a shop or a dealer sell you on the idea of speeding up the maintenance schedule (replacing things at 60,000 when the manual says to wait until 100,000).

What is the recommended service for 2004 chevy

Service your cooling system every 5 years or 150,000 miles. The GM Dex Cool has a life of 5 years or 150,000 miles which ever comes first. Replace the thermostat also and buy the fail safe thermostat, it cost a bit more but worth it.

Service the engine (spark plugs and wire) every 100,000 miles or till engine management prompt attention. (service engine light DTC code)

Service the transmission every 3 years or 60,000 miles, replace the transmission oil and filter. Transfer case fluid and differential fluid.

Service the engine oil and filter every 6 months or 3,000 miles. Lube Chassis

Service the air filter and cabin air filter, wiper blades every 15,000 miles or once a year.

What kind of maintience need to be done on a 2003 Z71 fwd ?

Change the filter with each oil change. Unless your towing, the tranny filter is usually 60k miles. Check your manual to be sure. Your manual should spell out when maintenance is to be done. If a garage wants you to do some outrageous expensive maintenance, have another garage look at it.

Need maintenace schedule

Spark plugs at 100,000 (use AC Delco plugs, they work best), check air filter at 15,000 replace at 30,000, replace fuel filter at 30,000, service (fluid and new filter) automatic trans at 60,000, replace hoses and flush cooling system at 100,000 miles, (use long life coolant), check belt at 30,000, replace if any rubber in ribs is missing, cracks are ok per factory bulletin's. oil and filter at least every 5,000 miles, lube chassis every other oil change, more often if u drive short trips, lube the door hinges and hood hinges and all latches every 30,000 miles. If I missed anything you want to know let me know. one last note manual trans and differential change lube only if torn down for repair, otherwise it is lifetime.
