if it is electric window check fuse box or the window motor or the connections or switch

Either the door switch is bad or the window
regulator inside the door

Window glass has channels on the sides
but no tracks

When ever a window falls, it is because the window
regulator broke

That could be a metal piece or the more popular metal
& cable assy

Obviously you have to remove the inner door panel to
check out the problem & then get the worn parts at a dealer
or maybe the auto parts store,but not likely

That is a lot of don't knows


That tells me your better off at a repair shop

Why not check all the fuses

If one blew,it will blow again, until you
fix the real problem

If one window works, it won't be a fuse

The most common would be a window
switch you use the most,followed by a window
regulator,then a fail motor.

Every Vehivle I've ever owne required removal of the door panel to do such a repair. How to do so is a little different for each car. You should be able to find how in a chiltons manual for your car. They're worth thier weight in gold. Usually involves unsnapping panel clips, removal of a few screws. it's actually quite simple.

Ford vehiclesuse electric motors to turn the window regulator in models equippedwith power windows. These motors can wear out, the fuses can blow, orother electrical problems could occur that can prevent the window frommoving properly. you may try to diagnose the power window problem. Use this steps:

1. Check the fuses for burned out filaments by pulling the appropriate fuseand viewing it. Most Fords will have transparent fuses, and the filament can bechecked with a bright light or in sunlight. Many Fords come with a fuse pullerlocated in the interior fuse block cover. This small puller is a simple pair ofclips that grab the edges of a blade-style fuse. There may be a secondary fuseblock under the hood on the driver's side wheel well. It has larger blade fusesfor protecting the computerand subsystems from damage. Replace any blown fuses and check the window'soperation.
2.Test the window operation in relation to the other windows in the vehicle. If only one window is inoperablebut the others work, the problem could be a switch or a failing or bad electricmotor. Switch replacement is fairly easy in most Fords as they simply pop outof the door panel openings with slight pressure from a screwdriver. Unplug theswitch assembly, replace it with a new unit and press it back into the doorpanel. Test the window for operation.
3.Check the window glass for excessive play or signs of a "slippedtrack." The glass is secured by the window regulator that can failmechanically and cause the glass to become stuck. Repair this by removing thedoor panel (turn the armrest bolts and door handle screws counterclockwise,then disengage the pop rivets) and removing the motor by unplugging it alongwith the mount bolts. Replace the entire window regulator if the hinges andinternals cannot be repaired. Replace the motor by pressing it into the windowregulator gears, then securing the mount bolts and reconnecting it to theharness. Replace the door panel and switches, then test the window.

4. Check for operation of the window with the engine on and off, and with thekey in different positions.
