I have a 1992 VW Cabriolet about 3 000 rpm it

I have a 1992 VW Cabriolet about 3000 rpm it makes a loud noise that stops 4000 rpm. It sounds like it is coming from the engine, but we can't find the source. Maybe a vibration?

Thank you! The clutch was just replaced. Maybe it was not done correctly.

The vibration at that high rpm is most likely coming from the torque convertor and if a manual transmission , then clutch issues.

I would take it right back to the shop that did the work.

    Good Luck

Lowering back seat in a 1992 VW Cabriolet

There is a seat realease in the trunk, on the drivers side you pull out, it's round. There is a strap to pull the seat down, feel in between the seat and trim panel... they sometimes break off so yours may not be there.
