Question about 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have had this problem a few times on my 2003 Grand Cherokee. After the guages go crazy then the thing will not start. First two times I replaced the battery and it fixed the problem for a short time. The real problem was corrosion on the battery cable(positive/red cable) I took some Coke and a wire brush and cleaned the cable, ends and battery terminal. This fixed the issue.

If the battery is good and connections are also good.you might check your belt's for slippage,or the belt tension pulley,if all, that is good it's possible your alternator is putting out enough voltage, back to supply the battery.
