Go to buy a set of wires to leave original radio in your trunk or buy a module because original radio is part of your alarm all this you will find (best buy) or (future shop)

The radio in my jeep patriot 2009 doesn't work with disc or fm, the am works. I can't set the clock or any other function. Help!!

as always with all electrical fails
check fuses first.
then check wiring to the objects failing
first.
odd how AM works.
sounds to me that
the Disc transport is bad, the later the antenna fell off (broke)
and only AM works is because they are so strong in the city (are you) that AM works with a dead antenna, (common fact)
FM is very limited in range and must have an antenna

i bench test radio's. ask how. its super easy with test speaker and a 12vdc battery.
after above issues.

if the clock is dead or display, that is a blown fuse. (no photos posted???)
it get the clock going first. fuses....
most radios have 2 fuses.
or more.

Change clock on Pontiac g6

There is 2 different radios. With or without rds. Here are the instructions for both.
Setting the Time for Radios with Radio Data Systems (RDS) To set the hour, press the clock button. The clock symbol displays and the hour flashes. Turn the ADJ (adjust) knob to increase or to decrease the hours. To set the minutes, press the clock button again. The minutes. Turn the ADJ knob to increase or to decrease the minutes. The time can be set with the ignition on or off.
To synchronize the time with an FM station broadcasting Radio Data System (RDS) information, press and hold the clock button to enter the clock set mode, then press and hold the clock button for three seconds until UPDATED displays. If the time is not available from the station, NO UPDATE displays.
RDS time is broadcast once a minute. After tuning to an RDS broadcast station, it can take a few minutes for the time to update.
Setting the Time for Radios without Radio Data Systems (RDS) To set the hour, press the clock button. The clock symbol displays and the hour flashes. Turn the ADJ (adjust) knob to increase or to decrease the hours. To set the minutes, press the clock button again. The minutes flash. Turn the ADJ knob to increase or to decrease the minutes. The time can be set with the ignition on or off.

I have an 08 honda ridgeline and my battery died and i dont know the code to unlock it. any help? im pretty sure i didnt change it so its probably the factory one.

You need the code for the radio right? If so push and hold the 1 and 6 and push the power button. you will have two sets of numbers come up on the screen write these down and call your dealer. Give them the numbers and tell them you need a radio code. Then input the numbers in the radio and push the fm button.

Clock in radio will not display or radio station number will not display on my 1999 jeep wrangler am/fm tape player. radio only displays the numbers 1 thru 9. the radio and tape player both work.

I won't sware this will cure yours but I took the front cover off mine and where the little metel slot things plug into your radio i took some steel wool and cleaned and shined them up. The cover should come off by gently prying on the ends. Mine even had a spring that when you pushed on it it poped out a little. But becareful not to pry to hard. If it won't budge the get someone who can help you pull it off. You should see the metel contacts that almost look like you could take it out to prevent theft of the radio. Let me know if this helped. Just a guess mind you. Please no bad marks, Good Luck, Raz

HI, my renault clio radio and clock display are dead

Hi All, the very same thing happened to me. Cold weather broke my radio and the display screen stayed on with the time and temperature but the radio wouldn't work. I rang Renault & they said I need to come in an get a new radio but I put it off. In the end the problem started affecting my battery and the car wouldn't start. But then when I jump started it, it also started the radio again perfectly. Problem solved!
Hope this helps. Good luck!

My 2000 grand am anti theft radio is locked and I need help unlocking it

This solution is for a 1999 Grand Am SE am/fm radio with tape cassette player:
Ido not know if this works for other Grand Am products past or prior 1999.
If the lcd display of the radio indicates "LOC" if you do not see anything on the display the small light behind the display is out and you need electronics to go further. If LOC appears here is what to do:
First put the ignition key to the ACC position.
2- press the HR clock adjust button once only ; the display should read 000
3-push the HR button successively until you reach 17 on the radio displayffd4cd1.jpg 4-then press on the MN (minutes) button again until you reach the number 42
5-when the number 1742 appears on the display, press on the AM/FM button once and after on the POWER/VOL button to power up the radio.
