Question about 1984 Chevrolet Chevy
"How do I remove the starter from a 1984 caprice classic"? I was able to remove the two retaining bolts, but I can't manuever it around the exhaust pipe. Do I have to drop the exhaust pipe or remove what looks like a support bracket behind the wheel?
No you dont you dont have to drop your exhaust i got mine out without dropping mine just have to take off bracket that holds the oil stick and take the piece off the starter that looks like a tube turn the starter sideways and it should fit between all that like i said i didnt have to drop nothing to do mine just gotta monuver it out tricky but possible
