2005 sunfire sometimes stalls while driving at 60mph after 30 miles and sometimes hard to start, have pumped the fuel peddle, can't tell if that helps or not. It does start eventually.

the problem with an intermittent stall is it needs to be diagnosed when it happens.your losing either spark or fuel when it stalls & this is what you need to find out.a couple of things you can do when it does'nt start is try spraying some carb cleaner in the throttle body to see if this helps.you can pull a spark plug wire off & ground it to see if your getting spark.neither one is too hard to do but making sure you have what you need on hand will help.
good luck

Have a 2000 lesabre custom with 77000 miles has a problem with stalling on occasion and sometimes is hard to start, after stalling may have to let it sit a few minutes before it will start it's been into...

We recently worked on a buick century with the same problem. we replaced the spark plugs and made sure the spark plug wires where on their tight and it ran like new. i hope this helps. BE CAREFUL AND DRIVE SAFE.

Engine missing at idle.....sometimes will stall. and sometime its hard to start..will crank for a while before its starts

Start with new spark plugs, wires and distributor cap. If it wasn't for the missing at idle comment, the hard starting is usually caused by a fuel pump going bad. Don't know if yours is electric or not, but either type will have that symptom.

So start with the easiest.

Car runs for 5 mins ,stalls, sometimes starts and sometime stalls

try checking the coil igniter, if this is faulty and it gets hot it will really make your car die but when its cold it will make your car run again.

Saab stalls while being driven

I would suspect the crankshaft position sensor is starting to fail. Sometimes the hose from the intercooler to the throttle body gets a hole in it where it passes by the exhaust. If it's neither of those two things someone should put a fuel pressure gauge on the car and monitor fuel pressure when the stalling issue occurs.
