Had similar problem with Chevrolet - took everything out to get to switches and ran electrical check - found that the thin metal connections had been worn off on those wires. Had to replace the entire 3 part panel or jury rig fan. The same can happen to the selector and the butterflies may not be responding. Could be that a link onto a butterfly has come off and not opening for the front. Try to find the butterfly which allows air to go to front and try turning it one way or another. If it turns and you get air - you know what is wrong - just not where link is that is not hooked up or if link is broken.

99% chance it is the blower resister located behind glove box. Squeeze glove box in and pull out.
The resistor is right behind it, dealer part cost less then $20.
Dodge has had this problem for over ten years and until recently did nothing. Now they combine fuse with resistor, suppose that will correct it?

check the coolant level, I had the same problem low coolant level.....no hot water to the the heater coil.

If you have the heater control up front on the floor or on defrost you should check that the heat is not blowing from under the d/p seats. If you move the heater control to dash you should have it coming out the top vents.
You could be having a coolant problem and need to check that first, If coolant level is normal you might have a thermostat going out. Both will cause your heat not to warm up at normal speed. If you need any thing let me know.

There is a recall that has something to do with the air/heat system in 2005 Dodge Grand caravans. Recall F01. Here is a link. I had mine done two weeks ago, cost me nothing. My air conditioner was overheating.

First of all make sure your anti-freeze is at specification level's as well as make sure With the engine cold start the vehicle remove the radiator cap and make sure you see the flow of anti-freeze while keeping your hands as well as your clothing away from moving parts feel both hoses going into your heater core if the one on top of hot one on the bottom is cold then you have a Clogged heater core in which case you will need to flush the system . a simple garden hose will do the trick simply remove Both hoses to the heater core with the hose at the bottom line apply the garden hose until liquid comes out at the top of the other hose will probably see a lot of gunk. Also ensure that the vacuum line to the round ball under the hood is connected and not dry rotted.this will cause a vacuum leak to not allow the switch to fully engage from cold to hot. I hope this helps you.
