Question about 1997 Ford Taurus
I just drove my Ford Taurus from Idaho to Calif. and just 77miles outside San Bernadino my "check engine soon" light came on and is still on. I've noticed my car is now sluggish, the temperature gauge is showing good, the gas is good. I noticed I am loosing fluid underneath the car towards the rear on the passengers side. Any clues on what's going on?
This could be a ton of diffedrent things from your air filter being clogged to a transmission problem. depending on the color of the fluid it may help you determine the problem or reveal another. if the fluid is a reddish color it is transmission fluid if its gas you should be able to smell it but it sounds like you have a leaky break line or wheel cylinder
