Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My cruise control will set on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special but it gradually increases speed after setting. It does not stop until I press the brake or cancel it.
Most likely due to a problem with the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). You can try disconnecting (for about a minute) and reconnecting your battery which may reset this system and fix the problem. If not, you can bring your vehicle into the dealer, they will perform a diagnostics test for about $95 that will determine what the problem is. If it ends up being the PCM, it is covered under warranty for 8 years 80,000 miles.
Hope this helps.
