Pull the rear caliper off and remove and replace the rotor. You will need a special tool to retract the caliper back as well.

I just bought a 2002 Buick LeSabre And it's making a grinding knocking noise in the rear right corner where the exhaust is the emergency brake light wont go off and the e-brake is not on!!

Right rear wheel may have worn out or damaged brake pads or rotor...You should be able to spin this wheel freely when off of the ground...if not brake parts, then the wheel bearing is bad...(locking up) Hope this helps.

Rear brakes disc or shoes?

Depends.... look through the wheel and see if it looks like the front. (rotor) if it does then it has DISC brakes, If you canrt see anything, then it has DRUM. most likely it has drum brakes in the rear.
