Question about 1988 Dodge Aries
I have an 88 dodge aries, when i start it its fine.but when it warms up after about 8-10 minutes it high idles and then shuts off immidiately.when i turn it on again the idle goes up and down.I have change out the pvc valve and every filter i can see but it does the same problem.
Check either the throttle position sensor, or idle air control valve. One or the other is the most likely culprit. Could also have a vacuum leak which will cause a high idle.
