A/C Control Relay

From my research I belive the A/C control relay is bad. Does anyone know where this relay is located or does anyone have a diagram of fues and relays? I have a 1993 BWM 325i and the fuse box only lists what the fuses are. I have no idea about the relays.

There are several relays for the A/C system on these. Using the reverse of the lid of the fuse/relay plate box it will show you the positioning of the relays but not the description;

I've added in the description so hopefully will help you!

Relay 9 - Heater blower relay
Relay 10 - Heated rear window relay
Relay 13 - A/C condenser blower motor relay
Relay 14 - A/C compressor clutch relay
Relay 15 - A/C condenser blower motor relay

There is no relay itself for the A/C control, however there are a couple of fuses for this. If you need I can supply you with the fuse position and exact function within the AC system.

Out of curiousity whats the problem with your AC?

The rear integration module grounds the trunk relay when commanded ON. The rear compartment should release.

This vehicle has a very complex body control system of three different computers

The body control system consists of the following 3 modules:
• The Dash Integration Module (DIM)
• The Instrument Panel Module (IPM)
• The Rear Integration Module (RIM)
Each of the 3 body control modules integrate a number of functional systems under the control of a single module. Each module is connected to the Class 2 serial data circuit, many of the control functions are implemented by Class 2 messages.

The various RIM inputs and outputs are described in the corresponding functional areas as indicated on the RIM electrical schematics.
The RIM functions include the following:
• Automatic level control
• CIGAR relay control
• Class 2 communication requiring RIM interaction
• Content theft deterrent
• Fuel door control
• Fuel level sensor input
• Heated seat control
• HVAC blower control
• LK/CYL relay control
• Park brake relay control

Luggage Compartment Description and Operation (General)
Rear Compartment Lid (trunk) release actuation is controlled by the following components.
• Rear Compartment Lid Release Relay
• Instrument Panel Module (IPM)
• Rear Integration Module (RIM)
• Valet Switch
• Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch
• Rear Compartment Lid Release Actuator
Battery voltage for the coil side of the trunk release relay is supplied through the Valet switch (with the valet switch in the OFF position) by the ALDL fuse located in the Underhood Fuse (Bussed) Block. Battery voltage for the switch side of the trunk release relay is supplied by the Body fuse located in the Rear Fuse (Bussed) Block. When the rear compartment lid release switch is momentarily pressed, it provides a ground circuit for the trunk release signal of the Instrument Panel Module (IPM). When the IPM senses that the switch has been activated, it sends a Serial Data Class 2 message to the Rear Integration Module (RIM). The RIM then provides a path to ground on the F/TNK DR REL relay control circuit. The trunk release relay is then energized, and battery voltage is applied through the switch side contacts of the trunk release relay to the rear compartment lid release actuator. The actuator is connected to ground through a ground splice pack located at the left rear corner of the rear compartment, near the left tail lamp connector.

Napa etc can tell u or library sec629. U cud just have bad switch or relay. A datastream run will confirm the modules

There is a "clockspring" wiring spiral in the steering wheel to accommodate the rotating steering wheel with controls on it. If this breaks, you may lose some or all functions controlled by stuff on the s-wheel.

Horn circuits are typically operated through a relay. Locate your owners manual and find the relay in your power control panel (probably under the hood). Remove the relay and change it with another in the control panel (that is, if there's another one like it) and see if the problem moves with the relay. If so, replace the relay. There should also be a separate fused circuit that controls the relay. If its not the relay there might be a loose connection or another faulty switch, etc. in that circuit. In that case you'll need a wiring diagram to find out what else is on the horn relay control circuit. Try one device and connector at a time until you've check the integrity of the circuit. Last thing to check would be the power control panel itself. There might be a loose connection from another powered circuit making contact with the horn circuit.

2001 rodeo, wiper problem may be caused by a bad relay in circuitry?

first off all cars have a FSM factory service manual.
and the chapter on wipers even tells you how it works.
and with a full schematic.
why work blind, just guessing and flaying about like robot in lost in space. (funny to watch tough)
why do an internet search and read 10000, wrong ways or wild guessing to do something , do you like lies and pain, that it.
here, its bad muffler bearings, doing that....
its a motor and a switch.
if intermittent, then it has what is called a intermittant controller module. and what is that, a timer and a transistors is what that is.
a motor, switch and timer.
simple as can be, a DC motor. if you know what DC motor is
then you know it needs to be controlled,
after all it would break the wipers in half if not controlled

    It's going to be your main relay, located under the dash on the drives side, turn key on and off, you will he a clicking sound, that the main relay control your power to you computer also.

    Can't find "Auto.Trans. Control Relay" on a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5 liter / also maybe "Elec. Control Unit"? Vehicle isn't moving as it should, very slow in drive. The shift letters blink...

    My research brought me to a schematic, which showed the location of the A/T control relay. I called the dealer to verify, using part # and location. The part is on order, I will intall it myself.

    The Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) is in the right hand front of engine compartment, mounted to upper radiator support.
