Spray some carb cleaner into intake while cranking. If engine starts, then there is no fuel. (need to find out if filter, pump or power problem)

A couple of things to check, when the engine is turning over, do you have spark? You can disconnect one of the spark plug wires, insert a screw driver in the end of the wire, hold the screwdriver 1/4" away from the block, crank the engine over and see if you have spark.
If you do have spark, borrow or purchase a fuel pump pressure gauge ($40 to $50), connect it to the fuel injector rail test port (looks like a tire valve stem with a cap on it) crank the engine over and record the fuel pressure. You should have 55 to 60 PSI. Make sure it does not leak down more than 5 PSI after you stop cranking the engine.
Good luck, let me know.
Regards,

550 runs smooth then begins tom lose power to almost a stall .if you turn off then restart seems to be fine

It may be the fuel pump, it may not be able to keep up with the engine. When you start the engine, the fuel pressure builds up before the engine turns over.
Video to check fuel volume.
If the volume seems good, the pressure still may not be enough. You'll probably have to take it in to get pressure checked.

My 1998 ford explorer wont start its getting fuel and spark it seems to turn over fast when it try to start it

the timing may now be out as engine moved after the pulley had broke , have the timing checked, if it's turning over very fast the timing belt may have broken so the starter isn't turning anything !

Will not start. have ignition but will not start

if it seems to be getting fuel let it set for a few minute, turn on the key without cranking the engine, then crank engine do not step on the gas pedal. if it still doesn't start check your fuse. if the fuse is good, then your problem might start to get a little expensive.

Starts and dies, starts and dies

Possible fuel pressure regulator. Altho are u sure you're getting good spark? More testing is needed here. Need to know what your fuel pressure is with "key on engine off" and then "key on, engine ON"...then turn key off and watch pressure bleed down. Bleed down should not fall below 30 psi.
