Question about 2002 Volkswagen Passat
How long has this problem been going on? Buy some Gunk motor flush and do an oil change it might correct the problem. One other thing is VW is known for motor gunking up. If it's a turbo, you need to take it in cause the motor will lock up soon. VW will not recall any of their cars for problems like this one. This happens to all VW's about at 30,000 miles or later, and sometimes it doesn't matter how often you change the motor oil. Trust me I know I have worked on the 2.0Liter's and the turbo's what a nightmare. People really don't get it cause, they think their getting a great car when your not.
