Question about 2005 Honda Civic
My wife owns a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid The dealership keeps telling her that the car battery needs replacing. I'm wondering is it needs to be replaced with a genuine Honda battery, or can we just buy a cheaper battery from an auto supply store.
Also, we live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and are looking for a repair facility that will work on hybrids that is not a Hpnda dealership - looking to save a little cash!
If it is the regular car battery that starts the engine you can put anything in. But if it is the Hybrid battery you are stuck going to the dealer.
