Using a paper clip in a "U" shape jump the two pins on switch it will make the compressor cycle and that will allow you to recharge the system. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

I think the question being asked is not "how" but "where"? Where is the plug located? Where is it? What does it look like? The person who originally asked where it is also wrote that he doesn't have a manual. For the benefit of most of the readers on here, let me rephrase that: Donde esta Tomacorriente? Que aspecto tiene?
Pretend to be an "expert"; answer the question; get your ten bucks. It's that simple. Where is the plug? What does it look like?
Does that seem a little easier to understand now?

My 99 tahoe a/c is not working and is recharged properly. The clutch does not engage on the compressor and the compressor is new. What can the problem be

if you did the recharge then check the gas pressures as there are two main switches that control the ac operation
one is a high pressure switch which stops operation if there is excessive gas or a blockage and the other is a low pressure switch which stops operation if the gas has leaked out
did you have the ac system checked for leaks before gassing it or replacing the ac compressor
lastly some systems have a relay that controls the ac and that can fail

Ac keeps turning off & on

sounds normal with climate control. If the Freon is too low it can shut down due to low pressure. There is also a low pressure cut out switch
to protect the compressor from running dry.

93 Allante AC Compressor won't come on to recharge system

On most models you would need to jumper the low pressure switch while you are recharging the system. There should be a low pressure switch on the low side line and a high pressure switch on the high side or on the compressor.

On the dashboard of my 99 deville it says a/c off low refrigerant. how do I turn the ac back on to recharge ? thank you ...

You will need to recharge it to get it to come back on, it has a pressure switch that will prevent operation until the level is brought back up to normal.

Compressor not engaging except only few seconds

Check your a/c freon pressure, sound like its low, when recharging have them check for leaks freon don't wast has to have a leak, the reason the a/c compr. cut off is because it has a low pressure switch, so when low on freon it will cut compr. off, so it don't damage it.

99 dodge ram 1500 ac problem

recharge your system, it;s low on refrigerat, there is not enough liquid going into the evap to help maintain cooling, hence the speed of the compressor. install gauges to check pressures at idle, if not to spec , recharge. if it's low you have a leak to repair. also make sure your AC condenser is clear. GOOD LUCK. RDJRP

AC Wont charge after replacing components

whenever the ac system has been opened it should be hooked up to a vacuum pump designed to evacuate the ac system of any foreign debris and oil etc and after should be able to hold a vacuum to show that there are in fact no leaks then if all is ok at this point you can then charge your ac with the proper freon specified for you car when the pressure reaches satisfactory level the ac compressor will then cycle on you should not bypass the low pressure switch

Compresser isnt cutting on

If freon is low, most AC comps won't come on to prevent damage to compressor.Should have a "low pressure" switch that can be "jumped" so you can recharge system?
