My Chevy aveo5 2011 don't have any code but lack of power and engin vibrating at 3K rpm at any gear speed automatic transmission what is the problem?

If no codes are set, i would suspect an intake or exhaust restriction- clogged air filter, catalytic converter, smashed exhaust pipe, or possibly a failing fuel pump is causing you to loose fuel pressure. Check your short and long term fuel trims. If they go more than -5%- i would suspect a restriction; if they are more than 5% positive- i would suspect lack of fuel.

We just got a 2004 Chevy Express. When you start it and put it in gear, it dies. The battery appears dead and you can jump start it.

IAC - idle air control problem possibly .( You can drive it if you use your left foot to brake but keep the gas pedal down to keep the RPMs up.) Wouldn't be a fuel filter , if fuel filter was clogged partly it would idle ,but would lack power ,low fuel pressure at higher speed's . Do you know what IAC valve is ,an how it works ?
Idle Air Control Valve
Or maybe the EGR valve pintle is covered with carbon an sticking open .
Or possibly a dirty or bad MAF sensor - mass air flow sensor - the PCM - engine computer needs info from this sensor so it know's how much fuel to feed the engine .
Hooking up a professional type scan tool to view engine sensor data cut's down on guessing as too what the problem is .

2008 ford police interceptor bucking at random speeds and the little Orange wrench light cam on? Was told it was my tps

have the fault codes read to find the faulty sensor
possibly could be the tps but it would be a lack of acceleration or power if that was the fault
more likely a cam/crank position problem or bad connection to the sensors
dirty injectors or low fuel pressure would be a better explanation

What is the PO320 code? what is wrong with my 2005 Hyundai xg350L?

P0320 Hyundai Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Possible causes
- Faulty Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor
- Faulty Crankshaft Position sensor
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor harness is open or shorted
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Low battery charge
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
What about the obd code?
The P0320 Hyundai code is triggered when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that there is no current at the ignition coil group
Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- The engine may be harder to start
- The engine may stumble or stall
P0320 Hyundai Description
Ignition failure sensor is used to check whether the spark ignition is occurred correctly or not and also used to tachometer drive. The sensor monitors the voltage difference between a resistance which is on the battery circuit for ignition coil. When the ignition coil works properly, the electric current through the resistance is detected as voltage drop. This is confirmed for every ignition event with the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor. If ECM detects a malfunction, no ignition is possible, so the engine would not start. If there is no ignition signal for a predetermined cycle for one or two ignition coils, an ignition coil circuit failure exists.

Trouble code P0320 ignition/dist. engine speed input circuit

P0320 - Ignition / distributor engine speed circuit malfunction

The ignition engine speed sensor input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) is continuously monitored. The test fails when the signal indicates that 2 successive erratic profile ignition pickup (PIP) pulses occurred.

Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- The engine may be harder to start
- The engine may stumble or stall

When is the code detected?
The P0320 code is triggered when 2 successive erratic PIP pulses are detected.

Possible Causes:
- Loose wires/connectors
- Faulty Crank Position Sensors
- Arcing secondary ignition components (coil, wires and plugs)
- Low battery charge
- Powertrain Control Module

Possible Solutions:
- Resecure loose wire or connectors
- If battery charge is low, recharge or replaced battery
- Replaced crank position sensor
- Replaced starter motor

I think I have a timing issue. My car takes a second to start up and the car jolts when it changes gears. Also, my steering wheel shakes left and right when I'm driving at low speed

Ok,

same car with the AC problem. Timing is not going to make this all happen.

  • If its jaulting as an automatic, through the gears, then probably check and change the fluid and the filter in the transmission. Usual jolting is from lack of fluid pressure, caused by lack of or blocked filter.

  • Start up could be anything from a weak battery to lack of fuel/choke. Try a new fuel filter, air filter element, check your oil and change the spark plugs.

(Symptoms of bad ignition timing are misfire and run on also extreme lack of power and rough idle. The car will also shudder and keep running a few seconds after the key is switched off.)

  • The steering shaking from left to right at low speed could be a few things. Is it only happening at low speed? Sometimes its hard to tell at high speed as it is happening so fast the frequency is almost unable to be felt. However when you brake it should be pretty strong if its a mechanical fault, ie disc warped or bent wheel.

2005 kia spectra wont start. throwing codes 1505, 1507 and an emissions evap. short code. what is the possible fix?

P1505 - Idle-Speed Control Valve Closing Solenoid Control Circuit Electrical
P1507 - Idle-Speed Control Valve Opening Solenoid Control Circuit Signal Low

The knock sensor will cause the ignition timing to ******, which will cause a lack of power, however, it's important that the engine camshaft/crankshaft timing was set properly when rebuilding the engine, if this is off, the engine will have no power and you could set the knock sensor code.

Hope thats help.
