Newly replaced timing belt was broken in my daewoo nubira 2000

After running 72000km i replaced the timing belt and new one was broken before drive 3000km what would be the reason. Do it really need to remove water pump before placing the timing belt? Please tell me

I don't have the solution, but the probable cause was that the new cam belt tension was too tight. I too am looking for information on timing belt marks and setting for my Deawoo Nebria 1999 twin cam.
Please let me know if you get any response Cheers Kevin

if u broke the belt then the engine valves are no bent, and yes the water should be replaced with the belt ALWAYS.

Yes you should always do the water pump when doing the timing belt. belt tension too tight can cause the break as well as a bad water pump or idler pully, these should all be replaced when you do a timing belt to save yourself this exact headache later on.

Does the timeing belt have to be on for the crank to turn the cam when instilling the timeing belt?

Are you replacing a broken timing belt? Or are you replacing a belt because it's due by miles? If the belt is broken, i strongly suggest inspecting for bent valves. Daewoo is notorious for bending all valves and breaking valve guides in the cylinder head when the timing belt breaks. The broken belt is also common.

did the timing belt snapbefore you replaced it? if so you may have bent some valves. if not recheck timing marks and distributor position.
