Question about 2002 Daewoo Nubira

1 Answer

My a/c stopped blowing cold air about three weeks ago

2002 Daewoo Nubira, only 22,000 miles on it, and I've never had any A/C problems in the past. I added 50/50 antifreeze, but it did no good.

The owner's manual said that coolant (the 50/50 antifreeze or whatever it's called) should be added if the cold air wasn't blowing and if it was low, so I added some. Telling me to charge the unit with refrigerant does not really tell ME much, since I'm not a mechanic. Replacing the part that is preventing it from working also doesn't give me much to go on. What part might that be?

I'm sorry to tell you this,But Antifreeze has nothing to do with your A/C,To repair the A/C would require Charging the unit with Refrigerant in it's low,Or replacing the part that is prventing it from working.

You will need to have the A/C refrigerant level checked,This can be done at some auto part stores for free,Or at most repair shops. We cannot know what part may be needed until we know if the level is correct or not.As far as the Antifreeze 50/50 is correct for the engine coolant mixture and is used to prevent the engine from overheating as well as heat for you interior. However,it has nothing to do with the Air Conditioning.

Your coolant reservoir is on the side of the battery, has a yellow cap with a shell alike engraving. Just be sure that engine is cool before to open it; remember safety first!

I have a daewoo nubira 2003 and have had to replace the immobilizer key (stick) every 12 months - now i am getting the run around from local service agent and cant get it fixed for 2 weeks - and i cant...

Part of your problem may be that there is no such thing as a 2003 Daewoo. Daewoo went out of business (at least in the U.S.) shortly after the 2002 model year. There is very little repair information available for these and even fewer parts. All I can do is wish you luck!

My camshaft position sensor in my Daewoo Nubira crapped out on me, I cannot get anybody to do the recall. Everyone keeps telling me I am at a loss. Is there anyone I can contact that will get this done for...

There different kinds of Cam sensors, Just by the cheap one around $60 and put it in yourself and save your self money because your car is 2002 and not under warranty any more and if your sensor failed then you need a new one,And Not that hard to do. Good luck

Which oil is good for my car daewoo nubira 2002 model. like angine oil . like 5w 30, 10w 30, 15w 40 , 20w 50, ............and if i put the 20w 50 grade angine oil so whats happen in my car?like fuel...

You should not put 20w 50 in the car. That is way to thick and it will not be able to circulate through out the engine efficiently. Also does not lubricate the internal parts as needed. That would be used on a more bigger engine. Your car should run fine on 10w 30.
