Now change the distributor. Get one from salvage or e-bay. Did the timing belt jumped a tooth or is it new. Vitally

The car has coil packs, no distributor. Mine is doing the same thing, It is a RANDOM multiple cylinder misfire then all of a sudden it will start running right for a while then it'll do it again. P0300 code 3800 V6 2000. Can you still drive it while it's doing this? Mine won't die in the road but it is like driving on 2 cylinders, then it'll quit. must be a sensor. I tried putting HEAT in the tank, didn't help

2004 chevy impala, jerking when trying to accelerate. Check engine light flashing

Cylinders are probably misfiring. Plugs probably need changed. Also have a local parts store check for any check engine light codes. May have multiple cylinders misfiring. Could possibly be plug wires (If it has them) or the Coils on the plugs (if it is set up like this instead of plug wires).

Car starts running rough at idle, eventually quits running. Has new plugs, wires, cap, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, IAC Valve, and gas cap.

Back then, Honda suggested timing belt replacement every 60,000 miles. If your Honda has that much mileage or more and has never had the belt replaced, now may be the time.

It sounds like a bad injector or a bad fuel pump .A p0300 is a random misfire. The best way to find out what the problem is take your car to some shop like Pep Boys or someplace equivalent to that a have them do a complete balance test of your injectors and have them test your cam position and crank sensors both of these sensors can be tested for proper operation.Ask them for a computer read out this will tell your mechanic exactly whats wrong.
