Question about 2005 Kia Sorento
I checked the fuses in both boxes and neither looked bad. I pulled the memory fuse and it looked good. I checked the battery in the remote and replaced but still nothing. I have this same problem with my 2005 Sorento. I have tried everything and nothing has worked so far. Any ideas?
Perplexing ... OK do the remotes work elsewhere from I'm assuming your driveway ... or do they work nowhere? (I was going on an radio interference theory here) As I've experienced this in close proximity (like 100 feet) from high power TV towers.
otherwise it sounds as they have all lost code simultaneously which has lottery jackpot odds ... Did you have a lightning strike nearby with both vehicles present? If these are OEM systems they may have to be re-activated (coded to your vehicle) at the dealer unless there are instructions on how to do this in the owners manual ...
